Siemens solar panels: module reference and datasheets

Large rooftop solar array in clear light
All 16 modules, with their datasheets

Sixteen Siemens modules from the SM, SP, SR and ST series, with datasheet values, calculated figures and typical applications.

Siemens Solar sold crystalline modules through the 1990s and, from 1998, CIS thin-film modules, into the early 2000s. The history page lists what the company’s own press releases say; it covers the company’s own announcements up to 2000. Many of the modules are still on roofs, masts and boats. Owners keep searching for the same things: what is this panel, what voltage and current does it give, will a modern controller accept it, and what can replace it.

This reference answers those questions from the original datasheets. Each module has its own page with the full datasheet, a to-scale outline, an indicative I–V curve, derived figures that are clearly marked as calculated, and the applications Siemens recommended it for.
